Sesame seeds and jaggery are packed with many nutrients and health benefits.. Sesame seeds are a great source of calcium and magnesium, promoting strong and healthy bones. Jaggery is also rich in iron, magnesium and it supports red blood cell production.  It is a healthy alternative to refined sugar laden sweets.

Ingredients required :

Sesame seeds : I have used white sesame seeds, but you can use any sesame seeds you have in hand, hulled or unhulled. Lightly roasting the seeds is essential as it removes any moisture and enhances the flavor.

Jaggery: Choose good quality jaggery that is soft and dark.

Cardamom powder: It enhances the flavor of the ladoos.
