
Easy Coconut Almond Ladoos

Coconut badam ladoo is an easy to make, nutty and melt in mouth treat prepared with a few ingredients. It is a quick Indian sweet which comes together in less than 20 minutes , perfect to celebrate any festive occasion. There are no complicated steps involved and they are made with just 3 main ingredients, coconut powder, almond powder and condensed milk.

Ingredients :

Desiccated unsweetened coconut : I have used store bought fine variety. It is easily available in Indian stores.
Almond flour: I used store bough almond powder. It makes these ladoos high in protein. It is available in baking section of stores. If you can’t find it, just grind good quality almonds to fine powder.
Sweetened Condensed milk : It provides the sweetness.
Cardamom powder : for the flavor
Ghee: For roasting the coconut and almond flour .


Coconut Almond Ladoo
Ingredients
- 1 cup Desiccated coconut dry, shredded
- 1 cup almond flour
- ½ can sweetened condensed milk ( 397 gm Can) (approx ½ cup)
- ½ tsp cardamom powder
For rolling ladoos
- 2 tbsp desiccated coconut
- 1 tsp ghee (for greasing hands )
Instructions
- In a large non stick pan, heat 1 tsp of ghee on medium heat. Add 1 cup of desiccated coconut and 1 cup of almond flour and roast for 2-3 minutes on medium low heat until you get a nutty aroma. Keep stirring, making sure the coconut doesn't turn brown.
- Add the sweetened condensed milk , cook for 2-3 minutes , stirring constantly until the mixture comes together and and turns non sticky. Taste and adjust sweetness. You can add more condensed milk at this point if you prefer sweeter ladoos.
- Add cardamom powder and mix. Switch off the heat.
- Let the mixture cool for 3-4 minutes . Grease your hands. Once the mixture is comfortable to touch, take small portions and shape in ladoos.
- Roll the Ladoos over the desiccated coconut and enjoy!!
