- 1 cup Desiccated coconut dry, shredded
- 1 cup almond flour
- ½ can sweetened condensed milk ( 397 gm Can) (approx ½ cup)
- ½ tsp cardamom powder
For rolling ladoos
- 2 tbsp desiccated coconut
- 1 tsp ghee (for greasing hands )
In a large non stick pan, heat 1 tsp of ghee on medium heat. Add 1 cup of desiccated coconut and 1 cup of almond flour and roast for 2-3 minutes on medium low heat until you get a nutty aroma. Keep stirring, making sure the coconut doesn't turn brown.
Add the sweetened condensed milk , cook for 2-3 minutes , stirring constantly until the mixture comes together and and turns non sticky. Taste and adjust sweetness. You can add more condensed milk at this point if you prefer sweeter ladoos.
Add cardamom powder and mix. Switch off the heat.
Let the mixture cool for 3-4 minutes . Grease your hands. Once the mixture is comfortable to touch, take small portions and shape in ladoos.
Roll the Ladoos over the desiccated coconut and enjoy!!
