Coconut Almond Ladoo

An effortless treat that can be made in just 20 minutes with a handful of ingredients. Gluten free.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Desiccated coconut dry, shredded
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • ½ can sweetened condensed milk ( 397 gm Can) (approx ½ cup)
  • ½ tsp cardamom powder

For rolling ladoos

  • 2 tbsp desiccated coconut
  • 1 tsp ghee (for greasing hands )

Instructions
 

  • In a large non stick pan, heat 1 tsp of ghee on medium heat. Add 1 cup of desiccated coconut and 1 cup of almond flour and roast for 2-3 minutes on medium low heat until you get a nutty aroma. Keep stirring, making sure the coconut doesn't turn brown.
  • Add the sweetened condensed milk , cook for 2-3 minutes , stirring constantly until the mixture comes together and and turns non sticky. Taste and adjust sweetness. You can add more condensed milk at this point if you prefer sweeter ladoos.
  • Add cardamom powder and mix. Switch off the heat.
  • Let the mixture cool for 3-4 minutes . Grease your hands. Once the mixture is comfortable to touch, take small portions and shape in ladoos.
  • Roll the Ladoos over the desiccated coconut and enjoy!!
