Prepare the Tortilla. Place a large flour tortilla on a clean, flat surface. Use the knife to cut the tortilla wrap outwards from the centre
Spread about 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce evenly on one half of the tortilla.
On next quarter , sprinkle a generous amount of shredded mozzarella. Layer your prepared vegetables (onions, peppers, mushrooms, and olives) in the next quarter.
Sprinkle basil and jalapeno (optional) in the final quarter.
Sprinkle the Italian seasoning. Add another small sprinkle of cheese on top of the veggies; this acts as "glue" to keep the wrap together when folded.
Then fold each quarter onto the next in a clockwise direction so that the result is a triangle shaped wrap.
Grill the pizza wrap in a preheated sandwich grill or just toast the pizza wrap in a pan without oil over moderate heat.
Press down gently with a spatula. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the bottom is golden brown and crispy. Carefully flip the wrap and cook the other side for another 2 minutes, or until the cheese is completely melted and the exterior is toasted.
Remove from the pan and let it rest for a minute so the cheese sets slightly. Serve hot with the Creamy Garlic Dip or additional marinara sauce.
