Prepare the Tortilla
Place a large flour tortilla on a clean, flat surface. Spread about 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce evenly over the entire surface of the tortilla, leaving about half an inch at the edge.
Add the Fillings
On one half of the tortilla, sprinkle a generous layer of shredded mozzarella cheese. Layer your prepared vegetables (onions, peppers, mushrooms, and olives) over the cheese.
Season
Sprinkle the Italian seasoning and torn fresh basil leaves over the vegetables. Add another small sprinkle of cheese on top of the veggies; this acts as "glue" to keep the wrap together when folded.
Fold
Carefully fold the empty half of the tortilla over the filling to create a semi-circle (half-moon shape).
Grill the Pizzadilla
Heat a flat pan or tawa over medium-low heat and add a little butter or oil. Once hot, place the folded wrap onto the pan.
Cook Until Crispy
Press down gently with a spatula. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the bottom is golden brown and crispy. Carefully flip the wrap and cook the other side for another 2 minutes, or until the cheese is completely melted and the exterior is toasted.
Serve
Remove from the pan and let it rest for a minute so the cheese sets slightly. Use a pizza cutter or sharp knife to cut into wedges. Serve hot with the Creamy Garlic Dip or additional marinara sauce.
